MarMar Copenhagen´s Technical Summer Outerwear will keep you comfortable and dry, even on windy and rainy days - ideal for changeable Spring weather and cooler Summer days.
These garments insulates and has high breathability (5.000 gr/m2/24), which also makes the outerwear suitable for high physical activity. BIONIC-FINISH® ECO impregnation spray, taped seams, and a breathable membrane on the back of the shell fabric makes it windproof and 100% waterproof (8.000 mm).
We have chosen the BIONIC-FINISH® ECO because it is fluor free.
Oeko-tex® Standard 100 certified, which means there a no harmful substances in any part of the garment.
Impregnation will wash off over time. You can re-impregnate with a suitable protectant spray. No matter what the technical membrane will keep the garment 100% waterproof.

Hidden press buttons and high quality YKK zippers.
Necklines and cuffs are made of a soft ribbed fabric adding soft comfort.
We have also added a name and address label inside every piece.
Breathability and Waterproof
Children run and play so heat and moisture must be transported away from the skin to keep them dry and warm. Our fabrics are breathable – specifically 5.000 gr/m2/24. A special membrane on the inner side of the outer fabric allows for air to be transported into and moisture out of the garment. The membrane also allows the fabric to be waterproof to 8.000 mm. All the inner seams are taped, which prevents rain from getting inside.
With the same waterproofness as our rainwear and a high breathability, our Technical Summer Outerwear is ideal for changeable Spring weather and cooler Summer days and ensure your child stay dry and comfortable, even in heavy rain and very windy weather.
Bio Water-repellent finish
We apply an ecological water-repellent fluorine-free impregnation called Bionic Finish ECO. This finish is sprayed onto the outer fabric so that it is water and soil repellent.
We recommend to only wash if necessary. Light smudge can be wiped off with a damp cloth. That will keep impregnation for longer. Impregnation will wash off over time, but will still be 100% waterproof, even if the shell fabric can soak up more rain. You can re-impregnate with a suitable protectant spray. No matter what the membrane on the inside of the shell fabric will keep the clothes 100% waterproof.
Thorough testing
We test for technical details and harmful substances. We test for water resistance, the BIONIC-FINISH ECO finish, the breathability, and permeability of our outerwear. The chemical test list include: fluorocarbons with a special focus on PFOS / PFOA, ASO dyes, heavy metals, phthalates and others.
All our Technical Summer Outerwear lives up to the criteria in Oeko-tex® Standard 100. That is your guarantee there are no harmful substances in any part of the product.
How to care
Our Technical Summer Outerwear has been impregnated with BIONIC-FINISH® ECO, an fluorine-free water repellent finish. To preserve our environment, we recommend not to wash unnecessarily. Light smudge will easily come off with a damp cloth. That will keep impregnation for longer.
Depending on how much wear the garment is exposed to, it is advisable to apply a suitable protection spray to the garment to keep the outerlayer water repellent and extend the life of the garment. Please note that even if you do not apply a protectant spray, the membrane will keep the garment 100% waterproof.
