What Should You Look for When Choosing Winter Outerwear?

Warmth matters, but so does protection from wind and water. Look for insulation, waterproof fabrics, protected openings and a fit that allows children to move freely.

At MarMar, we pay attention to the little things too. Soft cuffs that help keep the cold out and closures that are easy to manage. You'll find a full list of features in each style's product description.

And remember, bigger isn't always better. If trousers or snowsuits are too large, they can restrict movement and cause unnecessary wear as the fabric rubs together between the legs.

Meet Our New Winter Favourite

This season, we're introducing our PU Snowsuit for wet and muddy winter days. The waterproof PU-coated fabric, welded seams and windproof construction help keep wind and water out, while the smooth surface makes it easy to wipe clean after a trip to the playground.

And just like our Ollie Snowsuit, it has built-in suspenders, so children can slip the top half off without taking off the whole suit. Perfect for shopping trips and other indoor stops when things get a little too warm.

You'll find it in two lovely colours: a vibrant pink we call Rose Ranunculus and a deep, dark brown we call Dark Roast.
